Target Cartwheel and a 1 000 Target Card Giveaway!!!!

I was SO, SO, SO excited when I was contacted about posting about the Target Cartwheel app.
If you read the About Me on my blog, you know that Target is my happy place.
We go to Target at least 1-2 times a week.
When Claire was a baby, one of her first words was "Target".  #proudmom
About 2 years ago, our Target started selling groceries and that just escalated my love of Target to a whole new level.
I could do all my shopping in one place (without having to unload & drag my kiddos around to multiple stores!
Not only do I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Target, that is where I get the majority of my clothes & shoes and the kids clothes & shoes.I also get things for our house and of course, get things that I don't need from the beloved Target Dollar Spot

A few months ago, Target came out with the Cartwheel App.
It's a free app that you use at Target to save even more!
Just download it to your phone.
You get to chose what deals you want at Target.
This app is genius!
Here is what you do to use it:
1. Choose your savings (there are over 700 offers on Cartwheel)
 2. Go to Target & shop.
 3. When you checkout, scan your barcode to get your savings. It's paperless coupons with deals created for you!
If you don't have the Target Cartwheel App, here is some information about it:

·         There are more than 700 offers (coupons) in Cartwheel!
·         Cartwheel can only be used on in-store purchases
·         Cartwheel can be used on your desktop, tablet, mobile web or iPhone and Droid apps.
·         Using either the iPhone or Droid native apps, guests can scan any barcode in store to see if that item has a Cartwheel offer on it. This is a very fun feature that guests love!
·         Guests are able to use their Facebook login to sign up with Cartwheel. This enables them to see what offers their friends have on their Cartwheel lists in the app experience as well as via Facebook’s open graph stories. If guests want to use their Facebook login, but do not want their Cartwheel activity posted to Facebook, they can manage that by not allowing Facebook to post on their behalf during the authentication process. They can also manage this at any time via the app privacy settings.
·         Guests can add any offer to their list as “private.” This will keep from any story being posted to Facebook about that offer. As an example, if I wanted to add an offer on tampons to my list, but didn’t want a story generated from the “add” action, I would add that offer to my list privately.
·         Guests are also able to login and use Cartwheel with their Target.com login
·         Coupon & discount stacking—guests are able to use Cartwheel with any other Target discounts or coupons, manufacturers’ coupons and their REDcard discount
·         Multi-use offers—guests are able to use any offer on their list as many times as they wish until the offer expires, with the following exceptions: limit of 4 items per offer, per transaction; limit of 6 Cartwheel scans per day. So, if there was an offer for 10% off 20 ounce bottles of Diet Coke, a guest could purchase 4 bottles of Diet Coke in one transaction and the offer discount would be applied to all 4 bottles of Diet Coke. That same guest could do this up to 6 times in one day, for a total of 24 bottles of Diet Coke.
·         Single scan barcode—each barcode generated by Cartwheel is unique to the guest and holds all of the offers on their Cartwheel list. All the guest needs to do is simply scan the barcode one time at the point of purchase (after scanning any other coupons, discounts, etc.) and all the discounts on their list will be applied!
·         Badges—badges are a fun way to earn more spots on your Cartwheel list! They are awarded for reaching savings milestones ($10, $25, $50, etc.), interacting with Cartwheel (example: adding an offer from a collection to your list), and via social sharing (an invited friend who joins Cartwheel). For each badge that is earned, a new spot on your Cartwheel list is opened.
·         Offer spots—each guest starts with 10 spots on their list. More spots are earned when badges are awarded.
·         Cartwheel collections—Cartwheel collections are curated lists of offers that make it easy for the guest on the go to add items to her list. The collections are created to support seasonal offerings and categorical offers (grocery, women’s apparel, baby items, etc.). Collections are not comprehensive lists of all offers.

Click here to get the app.

So, are you convinced yet?
You need this App!
It is FREE and it helps you save EVEN more!
I have saved SO much more at Target since I have started using the Cartwheel App.
All my savings helps me justify those frivolous Dollar Spot purchases :)

Friday Favorites 100 Target Gift Card Giveaway!

Happy Friday!
Today I'm linking up with Friday Favorites!
Hosted by: Andrea, Erika & Narci

 Oh Friday, how I love you.
I have 10 favorites to share with you today!

{ONE}
Making zoodles is one of my favorite things to have for lunch.
I make my spicy spaghetti sauce with ground turkey & put it over zoodles & Parmesan cheese.
I use THIS veggie spiralizer. It's awesome & so easy to use!
One of my very favorite zoodle recipes is my Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai

Recipe {HERE}

{TWO}
Our trampoline is my favorite. I am so glad Santa brought it :)
Everyday after school, the kids jump on it before we start homework & it's a great way for them to get the wiggles out.
THIS is the trampoline we got. I HIGHLY recommend it!

{THREE}
Going to the Banff Mountain Film Festival Tour is one of our favorite things!
The past 2 years we have gone with some of our best friends.
It comes to UC Berkeley & The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco every year.
They are inspirational movies....if you have one on tour near where you live, I highly recommend going!
Before the show, we went to Homeroom in Oakland for dinner.
It is a hipster restaurant that only serves Mac & Cheese.
We are so not hipsters, but I love Mac & Cheese and have heard awesome things about this place.
It did not disappoint!
I got the smoky bacon Mac & Cheese:
It was Amazing. Mac & Cheese with Bacon is totally one of my favorites!
So, last week I made my Homemade Mac & Cheese recipe & I added 1lb of cooked bacon to it since I loved having that earlier this month.
 YUM! Recipe (HERE) and just add bacon to it!

{FOUR}
Getting a sinus infection is not my favorite, but antibiotics working their magic in 24 hours is my favorite.
If you know me, you know I rarely take medicine. But, I had to wave the white flag, this sinus infection is kicking my butt. I had to call in the big guns & get an antibiotic because its conference week at school so I don't want to take a day off. It's easier to teach sick than to take a day off, make sub plans and reschedule my conferences....I know all you fellow teachers understand!
This week has been a doozy....Daylight Savings, Conference Week & getting a sinus infection...it was a triple whammy.

SOOOO happy it's Friday!!!!

{FIVE}
Harry Potter is one of my favorite book series of ALL time.

Kate started reading Harry Potter last weekend.
Kevin and I started reading the series in 2002 when we were on our honeymoon in Maui. I saved all 8 books of the series so that our kids could one day read them.
That day has come & Kate  loves it as much as we do. She finished the 1st book in 3 days.
She is starting Book 2 this weekend.
I want to start re-reading them also. Such a great series!

{SIX}
March Madness.....this is my FAVORITE time of year!!!
I LOVE it. I have done a bracket every year for the past 20+ years.
This year I am not doing so well. My Colorado Buffs were in the tourney & I always have them going too far. They lost yesterday against UConn. So bummed!

I am in charge of the pool at school, but we also do a seperate family pool.

Kate's bracket is doing amazing....she was 15 for 15 for the first 15 games yesterday.
The last game of the day yesterday she picked incorrectly. Pretty impressive for a 9 year old!

Claire's bracket is doing pretty well & so is Luke's.
We told Luke the mascots & he picked which one he wanted to win.
Got to start them young in gambling ;)

Are you doing a bracket?
Who do you have winning?

Stitch Fix is my Favorite!
Stitch Fix is now offering shoes! What?!? So excited!

It's like Christmas morning every month. I have gotten them every month  for almost 2 years (you don't have to do them every month, but I love getting them, so I chose the monthly option. :)
You don't have to do it every month, you can customize it to how you want it...every other month, every 2 months, every 3 months, etc.

When you sign up for Stitch Fix , you link your Pinterest Boards to them so that know what styles you like. If you don't have Pinterest, that's okay because they also have a style questionaire for you to fill out & they have collages of outfits and you rate them on how you like them.
Each Fix comes with 5 different items & it comes with a prepaid mailing envelope, so you can easily return the items you don't want.
You aren't obligated to keep any of it! I have kept at least 1 item each time, sometimes I keep 2 or 3.
It's fun! And now they can dress you from head to toe!

Celebrating Holidays is my FAVORITE!

Yesterday was St. Patty's Day
Here is what we did to celebrate:
The leprechaun came & brought Lucky Charms....
 And, as usual, he left his treasure map
The kids were so excited about the trail of gold coins (Rolos)
 The leprachaun leaves a map every year...
 And usually leaves some candy...this year he brought Kate m&m's, Claire got Skittles & Luke got peanut butter m&m's
 For St. Patty's Day dinner we did our usual, Guiness Stew (Recipe HERE)
 This year I added some potatoes & carrots to it and I served it with balsamic roasted brussel sprouts with bacon. YUM!

 Now that St. Patty's is over, it's time to focus on Easter, since it's a week from Sunday!
Here are some fun activities that you can do with your kids this week to get you in the Easter Spirit! Many of these will help you focus on the true meaning of Easter....that Jesus died on the cross for all of us and rose again 3 days later.  Some of the other activities are just for fun!

Planting Jelly Beans
We do this on Good Friday & have the lollipops appear on Easter Sunday representing that God has taken the old and given us new life.
 You can read Luke Chapter 18 in the Bible with this activity.
 Talk about how Jesus’s body was laid in the tomb then on the 3rd day was raised from the dead and lived again.
 Bunny Prints
 On our front walkway made with flour on Easter Morning:

Bunny Trail
(Marshmallows leading them to their Easter Baskets)

Empty Tomb Easter Cookies with Scripture
(Recipe & Instructions HERE)

Resurrection Rolls:

(Recipe HERE)

Easter Egg Coupons:
Instead of filing eggs with candy, you can add these coupons to some of your kids eggs!
My girls LOVE getting these in their eggs!

Download them HERE if you haven't already!
These are a HIT at Easter. My girls can't wait to find the coupon eggs!

 Tie Dyed Easter Eggs:

Use silk ties to dye eggs! So fun.
{Instructions HERE}
You can see our tie-dyed eggs from 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014
The girls and I are working on our 2015 tie dyed eggs next week. Can't wait!

Happy Easter to one of my favorite Peeps Printable:

You've been Egged Printable:
Last year, I posted a "You've Been Egged" Printable.
