Oreo Mint Chip Ice Cream Pie
Math Nerd Alert!
Did you know today is Pi Day because the date is 3.14?
In honor of Pi Day and in honor of St. Patrick's Day on Monday, I thought I would share a super yummy & easy pie recipe..and it's green!
Here is what you need:
- Mint Chip Ice Cream
- Pre made Oreo Pie Crust
- Jar of Fudge
- Oreo Cookies (for the garnish)
Directions:
Let your Mint Chip Ice Cream sit out for about 15-20 minutes so that it gets soft.
Then, scoop the ice cream into your pre made pie shell.
Put as much ice cream in there as you can fit!
Microwave your jar of fudge for 30 seconds & stir. Then microwave it again for 30 more seconds.
Stir & then spread the fudge on top of the ice cream.
Take about 12-15 oreos & put them in a Ziplock. Use your rolling pin to crumble them.
Spread the crumbled Oreo Cookies on top of the fudge.
Put your pie back into the freezer for (at least 45 minutes).
Let the pic sit out for about 10 minutes before you serve it.
It needs to soften up so you can cut it!
This is a super easy dessert to make!
It can be made days before!
And, it can be made with any type of ice cream!
Happy Pi Day!
