10 on 10 December 2016 A winner

10 pictures on the 10th day of the month!
{Document a snapshot of your life & find beauty among the ordinary things in your day!}
ten on ten button
The 10th was on Saturday, so here is a sneak peek of our day.
Starting the day off with coffee by the Christmas tree.

Mug from {HERE}

It rained ALL day. I loved it!! We aren't in a severe drought anymore, but we still need rain!

We headed to see Santa.....no tears anymore...they love Santa!
Do you see how long the girls hair is? They haven't gotten it cut in over a year. They are growing it out for Locks of Love (or Pantene's Program) This was Kate's idea...they need 8 inches to donate, so we are hoping it is long enough by this Spring.

Our Santa is the real Santa....as he was saying goodbye to the kids he told them that our elf had reported that they had been fighting a little bit & that they need to eat more vegetables (I literally had to remind my kids last night to get along better & eat more well balanced meals) The look on my kids faces (and mine!!) were priceless. We believe!

After we saw Santa we went to our favorite Bagel Shop to get bagels for lunch.

Our favorite is the pink bagels....they were one of the only things I could keep down when I was pregnant with all 3 kids, so it's no surprise that they like them now.

Then Kate helped me put stamps on our Christmas cards.

Headed to the post office to drop off all the cards....200+ cards signed, sealed & delivered! Phew!
Whenever it rains, I wear my rain boots {HERE}
California in December means that our leaves are finally turning colors & falling off trees.

We went to the Saturday night church service, we love going to church on Saturday evenings, especially in the fall/winter.
We came home and had dinner...my homemade spaghetti sauce had been simmering on the stove all day. YUM!
After dinner, we watched a family movie....we introduced our kids to one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. I've waited years for this moment.
They all loved it & we will be watching Home Alone 2 this week :)

After the movie it was bedtime, but the kids wanted to show us their Christmas dance that they have been working on for a few days. Kate choreographed the entire thing. I love their creativity.

It was a great 10th!
Hope you also had a great weekend!

Hello 20 Weeks A Winner

Hello, 20 Weeks.
So thankful to be halfway through this pregnancy. It has gone by SO slowly. Probably because I have felt awful the entire time. Mel & pregnancy are not friends.
Hello, August Due Date.
Guaranteed it will be the hottest summer we have had in years.
I plan on floating in our pool all summer.

Hello, Baby Bump.
I am still squeezing myself into my regular clothes. And soon I will be saying hello to Maternity Clothes. Which I need to buy since I gave away ALL my baby stuff & maternity clothes 2 years ago.
Hello, Bun in the Oven
How I told Kevin about Baby #3 way back in December.
Hello, Sweet Baby.
Waving at us at our 12 week appointment.
Hello, Prayers.
For our 20 week ultra sound this afternoon. I always get so nervous before my appointments.
Praying for a healthy baby! Can't wait to see how baby has grown since we last saw it at 12 weeks.
Hello, All Day Sickness.
I have been saying hello to you since 6 weeks. And, you have worn out your welcome.
I would like to say good-bye to you. I am sick of feeling sick 24/7 and puking. Enough is enough. I was like this with the girls until 22 weeks. I keep reminding myself there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Tuesday Randomness A Winner

It's Tuesday & I'm feeling random.
Actually, I am feeling better.
I had a fever all weekend.
I even had it yesterday, but I still went to school because I have no more sick days this year (I used them all for my maternity leave).
But, honestly, it is such a pain getting a sub, I would have had to go in and make lesson plans anyways, so it's just easier to suffer through the school day & teach even when you don't feel good.
I went to bed Sunday night & had the chills and hot fever flashes.
When I woke up Monday morning, I still had the chills, so I took the hottest shower ever (which isn't good when you have a fever, but I was so cold, but hot at the same time)
When I got to school, my body was mad. During 1st period, my fever finally broke, I was sweating profusely. I had the door to my classroom open so that the cold winter air would cool off my classroom. I was a hot mess. My students were freezing. Good times. Ha!
The good news is my fever is gone, but my cough & sinus pressure is still here.

He has been sleeping 8-10 hours a NIGHT. Without waking up!!!
The girls were HORRIBLE sleepers. Didn't do that until 10 months (Claire) and 11 months (Kate).
The only thing I have done differently? Stopped stressing about it.
With the girls I was DETERMINED to get them on a schedule, blah, blah, blah.
I read every sleep book known to man with the girls.
With Luke, I was trying to get him on a schedule at 4 months because he was on track to be a horrible sleeper (in fact he was worse than the girls at that age)
Finally, I just decided to give up on the schedule, he is the 3rd kid, we are on the go more, he isn't going to have a schedule, I am not going to worry about it, he probably won't sleep through until he is 10/11 months old,  etc, etc, etc.
And, then...the craziest thing happened. He figured it out on his own & started sleeping through every night and has been doing this for almost a month.
PRAISE THE LORD.

Also, I have been having so much fun looking at all the outfits you guys linked up with Pin-Spired!
Over 30 people have linked up so far & you can add your links until this Friday!
I have pinned several outfits from what YOU guys linked up!!
